TidelineAtmospheric walking sim

A ninety-minute walk along a stretch of coast that won't be here in fifty years. About memory, erosion, and the small things we choose to notice before they're gone.

Tideline — game preview

The premise

Tideline started as a personal project after the studio walked the same beach we'd walked our whole lives and realized none of it would still be there for our kids. The hardest part wasn't building the world — it was making a game that respected its own quiet without becoming sleepy.

How it plays

We hand-photographed every plant, sign, and fence post over six months of field trips. The audio team recorded ambient layers at sunrise, midday, and dusk on the same coordinates so the world breathes through a real day. Player input is intentionally minimal — walk, look, sit, listen. Story unfolds through environmental writing rather than dialogue trees.

Where it landed

Released March 2026 on Steam, itch, and Switch. Overwhelmingly Positive. Featured in a major Sunday magazine and named to this year's IGF Honorable Mentions.
