ReliquaryRoguelike deckbuilder

Pull packs. Defy gods. Build the deck of your life. A roguelike where every legendary you pull rewrites the run — and a love letter to anyone who has ever held cellophane up to the light hoping for a hit.

Reliquary — game preview

The premise

Reliquary started as a love letter to trading-card hobbyists — that exact moment of holding the cellophane up to the light and hoping for a hit. Translating that adrenaline into a roguelike meant designing a pull system that felt heart-stopping without ever feeling rigged, and a combat layer that actually paid off the rare cards you risked everything to find.

How it plays

Three-act runs built around a single deck. A pack-pull economy where rarity is earned and partial-fail outcomes still nudge the run forward. Hand-painted card art layered over a card-physics engine we wrote from scratch so every flip, slide, and reveal carries weight. We tested with collectors and roguelike players in parallel and balanced for both.

Where it landed

Released on Steam Early Access in late 2025. Mostly Positive reviews, an obsessive Discord community, and the first community-run draft tournament wrapped six months in. Full launch is on the slate for late 2026.
